It covers your individual and employer’s responsibilities, including what you can do if you think anyone’s health and safety is being put at risk.

Who should attend: This course is designed to help those who are about to work, or have just begun to work in the construction industry and are looking to gain the Green CSCS Card.
Learning objectives:

At the end of the course, you will have an understanding of:

    • the need to prevent accidents
    • health and safety law
    • how your role fits into the control and management of the site
    • risk assessments and method statements
    • performing safely and asking for advice
    • how to report unsafe acts to prevent an accident

Course Duration: The course lasts one day, 9:00 am – 5 pm.

Assessment: Delegates are assessed throughout the course by the Tutor for their individual participation.
Summative assessment is provided by a 30-minute, 25 multiple-choice examination

Valid for: Certification for this course is valid for 5 years. To remain certified, you will be required to pass a refresher course before the expiry date on your current certificate.
